With the dream he could see
Into the parts of Galilee
He was forced into teaching
Another sacrificed time
With his love he was healing
He came out of the seas
This was spoken by prophets
This was spoken all the time
With the dream he could see
Into the parts of Galilee
He was forced into teaching
Another justified time
With his love he was preaching
He came out of the trees
This was spoken by prophets
This was spoken all the time
All these prayers for love and
All for endless time
All these poems and writings
A never fading call
All this critic and all this fight
All this devotion to God
All his life he believed that his name
Would forever remain
When a light would redeem
And as it grows and in between grows unseen
All the high priests and servants and
All of them were in prayer
When they ruled the freedom and wisdom – oh Regina
Bloody betrayal and no one
Remembered the Nazarene
See Mephisto, he was coming in Judas’ eye
And was killing down the fire and killing down the fire divine
And he took him in and broke him down
And he saw another tear and
See them pouring down like ‘twas raining
And they killed him – didn’t mind
Every time, every fear
Every hope, every sign
Every night, every tear
Every rhyme, every jeer
Every time, every fear
Every hope, every sign
Every night, every tear
Every rhyme, every jeer
In that night I can see
Were a light and a dream they could feel
All the high priests and servants and
All of them were in prayer
If we ruled the freedom and wisdom - oh Regina
We’d be denying and not remembering the Nazarene
As Mephisto we’d be coming in Judas’ eye
And we’d be killing down the fire and killing down the fire divine
And we’d take him in and break him down
And we’d see another tear and
See them pouring down like rain
And we’d kill him – wouldn’t mind
And it keeps us bleeding
And it keeps us bleeding
And we’d kill him – wouldn’t mind
And it keeps us bleeding
And it keeps us bleeding
Every time, every fear
Every hope, every sign
Every night, every tear
Every rhyme, every jeer
Every time, every fear
Every hope, every sign
Every night, every tear
Every rhyme, every jeer
Every time, every fear
Every hope, every sign
Every night, every tear
Every rhyme, every jeer
Every time, every fear
Every hope, every sign
Every night, every tear
Every rhyme, every jeer
“The Beauty Of Gemina” have been performing live for 15 years. Nine studio albums, top-ten hits in the alternative charts
throughout Europe and sold-out concerts all over the world line the trail of the dark indie band around the songwriter and mastermind Michael Sele....more
I have been following VNV and attending their concerts for years. They are an amazing band, so prolific, well travelled, classy, and down to earth. Ronan is such a humble, amazing fellow. I'll never forget his taking a person's cellphone so he could give the person on the other end in hospital a front row experience. But this track, their music, is so moving. Lyrics are so well thought out, and their sound so consistently emotive over the years. Can't say enough good about VNV. realbibliodude
