I sing my song of the lonesome town
Just for a while, come on, let’s sit down
And I know that you know, you can’t deny
It’s me on the street, simply cast aside
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
I sing my song of the lonesome lake
Just for a while come on take a break
I know that you know, you can’t deny
It’s me at the shore under a red diamond sky
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
You listen to my song and I hope you’re all fine
I sing my song of the lonesome road
Just for a while, come on, please take note
I know that you know, you can’t deny
It’s me on this road along the far side
Where are you, all friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
I sing my song of the lonesome sky
Just for a while, come on, take your time
I know that you know, you can’t deny
It’s me in the blue in this pale sunset light
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
You open your eyes and I hope you’re not blind
I sing my song of the lonesome end
Just for a while, come on, take my hand
I know that you know, you can’t deny
It’s me on the deathbed and I am all smiles
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
Where are you, dear friends of mine?
You stand by my grave and I hope that you cry
“The Beauty Of Gemina” have been performing live for 15 years. Nine studio albums, top-ten hits in the alternative charts

I like the subtle way in which the tracks connect to the album cover, making this resting maiden the center point — calm in the midst of storm. (Just my interpretation maybe but the cover gives extra depth to the music... a softer undertone). The image reminds me of ‘Annunciation’ by Dante G. Rossetti used in ‘Adrenaline’ music video.
‘Smoke and Mirrors’ puts me at peace with big disappointments — a bittersweet musical potion.
